The Kenyan Music "Mapepo" by Visita

The Kenyan music industry has really taken a great leap, it has really improved, from the low quality videos to HD and sensible, genres at least you can relax and listen to the music. The hip hop, Afro pop  has really changed in this part of southern Sahara.
To be frank I enjoy music a lot and I know a hit when I listen to one such music. I must admit that there are some artists still struggling to find their niche signatures. But the likes of KaKa Sungura(Rabbit ) and Visita Seem to be having fun when doing their thing. I am an ardent fun of East African Music from Kigali’s King James, Knowless , Uganda’s Chameleon, Maurice Kirya , Tanzania’s Alikiba ,Lady Jdee amongst others , Coming to 254 . Allow me to be biased today on one artist, he  leaves
me in stiches whenever  I do listen to his songs.
The song’s title is Mapepo" by Visita , His single  produced by Grandpa records released in late 2014 , it is  a hilarious one, high definition and portrayed high level of professionalism and on point on societal issues . The lyrics mostly talks about marriage, women’s role in a marriage, and the bad spirits (mapepo) affecting the young Generation and even older ones

The official Launch of Lakehub

Join LakeHub in celebrating the official launch of Western Kenya’s first innovation and technology hub on March 13th 2015.
Almost 2 years ago a few enthusiastic techies in the area begin with an idea to build a home for technologists in the region. That idea developed into a series of informal meetings of tech-enthusiasts who met regularly at coffee shops and in hotel lobbies. The informal gatherings pulled in wider circles and established more effective programs. Today, that community has become a full-force hub buzzing with activities day-in day-out. To celebrate the growth and success of this thriving community, we would like to invite you to a more formal launch and celebration of our current success and future path.
We got our current space in September 2014. Our intention was to encourage information and technology types to walk in and look for like-minded folk so that they could talk to each other and figure out if they could work together on projects that will transform society. Six months later, we have tracked more than

Inspiration
We are advised to follow our passion and spent our time doing the things we love. To many, the journey of finding their passion or purpose for existence (PFE) as John P. Strelecky put it in his book “The Big five for life” can last a lifetime. Others are lucky to find during the early stages of their lives, I count myself among the lucky. I joined iHub as a white member in late 2011, I was in my second year of study at Maseno University then where I was registered for CS degree programme. Reading the weekly newsletters by the iWeekly soon became a habit and I got more interested in the kind of knowledge I acquired through this. I found myself always on the know on Kenya and Africa tech scene, stuff that were little known to my
